European Commission's Large Language Models Evaluation
The first virtual European LLM Multilingual Evaluation Expert Workshop, organised by the European Commission and the European Language Data Space, took place on 2 July 2024.
Following current developments in the field of Large Language Models (LLMs) and the challenge to evaluate them in a robust and reliable manner, this workshop aimed at initiating discussions towards the development of a European-minded methodology to efficiently compare the capacity of LLMs in multilingual contexts.
CrossLang was one of twenty-five LLM experts from research, industry, the public and private sectors that were invited to share their experience and views in this workshop.
