The 25th Annual Conference of the European Association for Machine Translation (EAMT 2024) took place at the University of Sheffield, UK. The conference brought together researchers, developers, translators, and technology professionals to share and discuss advances in machine translation — from research breakthroughs and real world deployments to translation workflows and industry case studies.
June 6, 2024: Panel discussion VUB
CrossLang was invited to participate in a panel discussion at VUB (Brussels University) to talk about necessary digital competencies for future language professionals. We had the opportunity to share our views together with colleagues from the industry.
May 22-24, 2024: LREC-COLING
The Joint International Conference on Computational Linguistics, Language Resources and Evaluation (LREC-COLING) – one of the world’s most important events about language data – was held in Turin, Italy, attracting more than 2,200 in-person and 800 online visitors and featuring close to 300 sessions within the three days of the main programme.
November 20-22, 2023: TC45
TC45: Translating and the Computer conference, organised by AsLing, convened at the European Convention Center in Luxembourg. TC45 brought together professionals, researchers and developers from the translation, interpreting, and language technology fields to explore the latest developments in translation technologies, machine translation, terminology management, and multilingual workflows.
