Complex multi-lingual analysis of regulatory content for the European Commission
The Directorate‑General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union is the Commission department responsible for EU policy on banking and finance. With global financial regulation density increasing drastically following the recent financial crisis’ globally, financial market operators and regulators alike are finding it challenging to keep up with the increasing density of global financial market regulation.
Under an EC consortium program CrossLang, with partners, developed a solution for analyzing global regulation and establishing reporting requirements automatically from the ingested content.
The solution also allows parties drafting new regulation to take existing regulation more effectively into account to avoid duplication and conflicts.
